We have just completed the first 3 days of our BOYANCI Wine Peru trip. We began with the tourist stuff and tonight head to the volunteer house (think dormatory) to get ready for the next 4 days of volunteer work which will really be the highlight.

There are 9 of us in the group, all Americans and friends and family of BOYANCI Wine. The group has meshed perfectly and the weather has been excellent. We began in Lima with a day tour and then traveled to Cusco which is a beautiful city that sits at 11,000 feet elevation. From there we visted Incan ruins in Ollantaytambo and white water rafted down a nearby river. We then took a train to Aquas Caliente which is a staging town for day trips to Macchu Piccu. Yesterday we spent the day, staring at 4am in Maccu Piccu and climbed a mountain called Winyu Piccu which rises high above Macchu Piccu but I´ll let Kevin tell you about that.

Cheers,

Tom
